The queen of the native varieties of Breganze. The only one that is still widely cultivated and better known in a “passito” version: the Torcolato di Breganze. A complex, full grape with which we obtain important white wine: with minerality and acidity they intertwine with the delicate aromas of white flowers. It is fermented in non-vitrified concrete tanks. The harvest is scaled in early September. It is raised double upside down on various plots between the Breganzese hills. The vineyards are from 4 to 20 years old and the soil is volcanic with a clayey matrix (as for 8cai) but on one of these there is a lot of silt which always gives the wine a note of freshness.
